The Indiana Health Information Management Association (IHIMA) is a non-profit association of health information (HI) professionals in Indiana. IHIMA is dedicated to serving our members by advancing the health information management profession in an increasingly electronic and global environment through leadership in advocacy, shared knowledge, education, and lifelong learning.
 
IHIMA’s mission to lead the advancement of quality health information by empowering people to impact health in Indiana drives our members and credentials HI professionals to ensure that health information is accurate, meaningful to the patient, accessible, secure, and complete at all times.
 
IHIMA is an affiliate of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) as a component association. AHIMA is a global nonprofit association representing health information professionals who work with health data for more than one billion patient visits each year.

The IHIMA Education Committee is seeking presentation proposals from industry leaders and experts like you for our annual event, the IHIMA 2026 Annual Meeting & Exhibit, taking place April 27, 2026 at the FORUM Events Center in Fishers, Indiana.
